From its launch until the end of 2023, Insuficiencia Cardiaca was published on a quarterly basis, with four issues per year.
Beginning in 2024, the journal has adopted a continuous publication model. Under this model, articles are published online as soon as they are accepted, copy-edited, and typeset, rather than waiting for a specific issue date. All articles published during the calendar year are grouped within the corresponding annual volume of Insuficiencia Cardiaca.
This approach shortens publication times and ensures that new research in cardiology and cardiovascular medicine is made available to readers as quickly as possible.
